Guide To Luring:
Luring is the pulling of one or more mobs from a dangerous room to a less dangerous room. There are a few ways you can lure, but there are some basic features you usually need someone or something to block and then someone who can cast a dot spell (a spell like creeping doom or immolate).
Basic Rules:
1) If a player is blocking then they need to be sure they are not wearing any sort of dmg shields (soulshield, negative energy shield, fire shield, cold shield, etc).
- Pet blocking is the best way to do things if its possible (some mobs hit to hard to do it) because you can send them in without worrying about them having to make it out. Just vit/stone/healing salve said pet and send in
2) Some mobs can be hit lure, have to learn which ones those are.
3) Healing Salve/vit/stone the blocking player
4) The person who is casting the dot spell should have the commands stacked, ie: e;cast 'immo' target;flee
You can also lure some rooms with just a quick magic missile or hit lure as I stated before, you have to learn which zones need which kind of lure, either hit lure (spell or tank doing it) or dot lure. In some zones you still need to use a blocker for a hit lure and in that case you are using a magic user to cast a quick spell on them and then they leave room, best way for that is agian stacked commands ie: e;cast 'magic m' target';west
