Bard Notes

* Keep spare sets of books
* You can minor create instruments. Like other mages, you can also
minor create bandages, rations, and fishing poles for fishing, each
allowing faster hp regen after fights.
* Set up aliases to switch instruments
* Listen can warn you of enemy groups
* If you type listen (direction), you get an estimation of how many
people are in that room.
* Max hide for quick escapes but don't depend too much on it. Bard hide
maxes at 70 and everyone has sense life.
* If you sleep a target and then have someone blind it, it will not hit
back until blind wares off but blind doesn't last as long as it use to.
* Spamming backstab can keep assassins from backstabbing you in turn
* Song of Harm can blind as well as harm your enemies.
* At level 51 song of protection will give stone skin to your group
* You can play song of sleep and then hide. If you are successful at
hiding, the mobs in the room won't attack you.
* Songs generally last longer than spells so the globe from song of
protection is better than a conjurers� globe.
* Only blind and stutter can stop you from singing
* Max intelligence gear will make you memorize spells faster.
* Song of dragons will protect you from fire, acid, and a few other
elements but you still need protect fire gear for fire plane rooms.
* Song of protection decreases ac and at higher levels gives globe and
finally stone.
* Song of flight gives levitation and fly. This song also will give
movements back.
* Song of heroism makes warriors hit harder and hastes the entire group.
* Practice all your song skills whenever you can.
* Song of harm will not kill but it will incapitate mobs. It is a great
way to plevel(power level) your friends. Have your friend sit out of the room
then play song of harm and incapitate all the mobs in the room then have your
friend come in and kill them for a lot of experience. You should be able to
level almost any class to level 20 in under an hour. At level 51 song of harm
will start poisioning the mobs as well and this can screw up your pleveling.
