It is fairly simple to do. Make a weekly post that spotlights the best posts that you have read on other peoples blogs. By linking directly to the post, you create trackback links on other blogs and this will result in new readers to your blog. This is sort of works like a backwards blog comment. One of the major advantages of a blog is that its revenue is passive income. To explain passive income lets look at active income first.
I'm guilty for not pointing to the fact that Wordpress blog templates have technical compatibility issues tagged to them. For instance some templates are made for Wordpress 1.5 and some made for Wordpress 2.3. So if you choose the wrong template and later decide to upgrade your blog it could cost you months of work on your blog. That is to say, communication with the blogger at the other end should be more personalized. It should be the same treatment for customers, who are in effect assets to your business. You can create buzz by constantly engaging your customers and bloggers alike in conversations that should be honest and transparent. Bear in mind that only meaningful conversations will bear fruit. These will develop positive experiences that will be relished by your customers as well as bloggers. A great place to go to buy links is Digital Point's forum. Go to Boxing stats their Trading section and you'll be to buy tons of one-way or two-way high PR (Page Rank) links to your site. You will need first a successful blog post that people are legitimately interested in, but you have something you think is wrong or something you'd like to add. Let's take a recent posting from retireat21.com titled 'Top 30 Young Bloggers Under 21'... oh look I'm on the list... well anyways... one of my fellow bloggers Jason decided he didn't want my name on the list apparently (just kidding Jason) so he made his own spin-off version of the list on his website.
